The two-story entrance tower on this community bank provides a signature design element to the project, and features a wood and metal staircase. Exterior red brick and buff-colored stone contrast with large window walls of glass. The interior finish materials extend the warm tones inside, with two contrasting woods and copper, slate, blue, and sage accents. Pottery and blown-glass light fixtures made by local artists are featured in the bank’s public spaces. Functionally, the bank needed easy access to its drive-thru lanes and visibility from the intersection of Stage Line and Carmichael roads. The building is designed to allow for multiple tenants, but can be modified to single-tenant use as the bank grows. The drive-thru canopy roof is accessible to employees as a balcony off the second-floor break room.
