A two-story bank and office building was located on what the Minnesota Department of Transportation calls the busiest intersection in the metro area: Snelling Avenue at Interstate 94. The project faced a range of challenges including access issues, relocation of a bus shelter, existing electrical boxes, and pollution at the site. The building was designed with the entrance away from the street and decorative lighting to increase safety, especially at night. The corner tower with its prominent roof overhangs is lit at night. It’s visible from the highway and has become a community landmark.
