The new 4350 Baker Road building is part of the redevelopment of the former Fingerhut headquarters. The site has maintained existing trees, ponds, and access points. The new structure faces a renovated, existing building and features similar exterior materials, to create a campus feel. The project includes underground parking, an outdoor patio, and a two-story atrium lobby and interior finishes such as slate, wood, aluminum, and carpet tiles.
With sustainable elements such as a white roof, low-flow plumbing fixtures, shower facilities, onsite cafeteria, and designated fuel-efficient vehicle parking, the project has obtained Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. The building was 88 percent leased just three months after construction was completed.
