The three-building Excelsior Crossings project is being developed on the site of a demolished warehouse and will serve as Cargill’s corporate headquarters. Building B is the first of the three phases. The site required significant cleanup efforts to remove contaminated soil. The seven-story structure features textured pre-cast concrete, a rounded glass curtain wall on the south side, and metal accents. Roof-mounted equipment is screened by walls of similar materials. Sustainable principles were used in the design, and the developer is seeking a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) gold rating for the building.
