Skyway provided seating and
tables for a gala sit-down dinner for 3,500 people, held in a
650,000-square-foot hockey arena. The event also included a silent auction and a
performance by a nationally-known rock band, for which Skyway did the staging.
To get the necessary floor space in the arena, Skyway built three tiers of platforms over the stadium seating that added 28,000 square feet for tables and chairs. The rental company had to create computer-generated renderings and do a trial set-up to work out the kinks in the installation. In addition, the performance stage was raised to seven feet to accommodate sight lines.
Skyway completed the installation in just 3 days.
