Background: Gadnis left the software industry in India in
1993 to lead the technology transformation at Colombia’s central bank. A year
later, he came to Minnesota to work in the technology consulting industry. That
same year, he met Kolling, who had worked in management for major technology
companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Sun Microsystems. In 2004, they founded
Forward Hindsight, a business advisory firm. The firm has been profitable every
year since its founding. Their clientele includes Best Buy, Carlson Com-panies,
Air Tran Airways, and Famous Dave’s.
In His Own Words: “We’ve really helped create a name for
ourselves because we’ve offered so-lutions that are more pragmatic and grounded
in reality. We work more in the stage where we are able to go in and make an
immediate impact in an organization.”
In
Her Own Words: “We offer an environment where [employees] can work on
cutting-edge, high-visibility, challenging projects but also have a work/life
balance. We don’t have people working 60 to 70 hours a week like some of the
other consulting firms do.”
