A de facto leader among Minnesota's Indian-American business community, Mahendra Nath is reinventing himself as a philanthropist and mentor to entrepreneurs. A successful entrepreneur admired for his business acumen and personal integrity, Nath immigrated to the United States with $800 and eventually owned some 160 Burger King restaurants, 40 Denny's restaurants, two hotels, and nine commercial and residential properties.
