As CEO of Fabcon for
the past 12 years, Mike Le Jeune has presided over the addition of the company’s
fourth manufacturing plant and the introduction of a variety of pre-cast
concrete wall panels, which are used in the construction of industrial, retail
and commercial buildings and provide firewall and soundproofing benefits. From
2000 through 2007, Fabcon’s sales increased by 87 percent to $267 million
In 2003 the company introduced “VersaCore Plus,” a manufacturing technique
that results in lightweight, durable, and energy-efficient panels in thicknesses
from 8 to 12 inches.
