Russ Nelson is known for knowing Twin Cities commercial real-estate markets as well an any other participant/observer, and for having a particularly acute sense of the market in downtown Minneapolis, observations about which he has shared in an annual fall address at the Minneapolis Club. He serves as a board member or officer of at least 11 not-for-profit organizations and two banking companies, and holds memberships in several associations of real-estate professionals.

Career History: Russ has over 25 years of experience providing corporate real estate. Prior to founding Nelson, Tietz and Hoye in 1993, Russ was president (1982-1993) of the first Twin Cities firm to exclusively represent the real estate needs of corporations.
