North Stars legend Lou Nanne was a star player and the first
in the National Hockey League to be player, coach, and general manager all at
once. This fall, on the former team’s 40th anniversary, he’s out with a new
coffee-table book, Minnesota North Stars History and Memories with Lou Nanne
(Beavers Pond Press), co-authored with Bob Showers.
Nanne, senior managing director at Voyageur Asset Management, where he’s been since 1995, has also taken on spokesperson roles for locally based freight forwarding company K2 Logistics and TCF Bank. Both businesses are promoting the book. All proceeds go to hockey scholarships at the U of M and the USA Hockey Foundation.
