Display your photos digitally and print out hard copies with a single device: the Sony DPP-F700 picture frame, new this month (about $200 at major retailers and sonystyle.com).
The display screen measures seven inches diagonally (800-by-480-pixel resolution). Mounted at its base is a dye-sublimation printer that produces a four-by-six-inch print (300 dots per inch) in about 45 seconds. When the paper tray isn’t attached, the printer mechanism is somewhat concealed.
Before printing a picture, you can crop it, adjust brightness and contrast, and perform other basic editing functions using buttons mounted on the frame or the included remote control. In “Creative Print” mode, the device also can print calendars that incorporate your images.
