Most deans would agree that their advisory boards are an   essential element to their success as leaders of the state’s business schools. Says Lawson of her board: “They are all very thoughtful, they have a lot of experience, they have a lot of connections, and I really value their guidance and their interest in helping me do a better job at what I’m doing. They help me succeed.”
