Can you eat well for a month getting 80 percent of your food from regional producers? That’s the challenge that 12 Twin Cities food co-ops have issued, beginning August 15.
They’re tagging qualified foods with a green and black “Local” label and handing out menu suggestions to help shoppers stick to a local diet.
