Without fanfare, the Bloomington-based Holiday Companies cleaned up their gasoline to meet the Environmental Protection Agency’s 2007 standards way back in 1999, substantially reducing sulfur and other tailpipe emissions. (Of course, we could also call Holiday the Fuel Company Most In Need of Better PR—see “without fanfare” above. Aside from neat little "Blue Planet" logos on its gas pumps, Holiday has done little to make consumers aware of its greener fuels.
