A small, three-bay shop in an Oakdale strip mall where Minnehaha bisects Century and Geneva, Automotive Services is owned and operated by Paul Laszcwski. He’s a throwback in this era of mega service outlets with their pre-established rates—a personable mechanic who can communicate with customers and, more importantly, their cars. He finds what's wrong, does what's needed, and tries to talk customers out of unnecessary repairs. Don't be fooled by the shop’s generic name; the only things Laszcwski lacks are more work space, more hours in each day, and maybe a vowel or two.
