For years, La Belle Vie has been the deserved recipient of countless awards and accolades. The only thing that kept Twin Cities diners away was the drive to Stillwater. Then last year, the restaurant moved, lock, stock, and barrel, to the stately 510 Groveland building across from the Walker Art Center.
La Belle Vie hasn’t missed a beat in the move. Chef Tim McKee still cooks up some of the best creations this region has to offer—seasonally influenced appetizers, entrées, and pastry chef Adrienne Odom’s sinful sweets, plus new five- and eight-course tasting menus and a bar menu to enjoy in the charming new cocktail area inside the 510’s entrance. Add partner Bill Summerville’s well-chosen, well-priced wine list and top-notch serving crew and this is, indeed, “the beautiful life.”
