Computerworld put Securian—an insurance and financial services firm and a fixture in downtown St. Paul for more than a century—on its 2006 list of “Best Places to Work in IT.” The magazine touted Securian’s benefits, training programs, and work-life balance. It’s the 11th time Securian (and its previous incarnation, Minnesota Mutual) has made the list.
InformationWeek magazine has also raved about Securian’s work environment, and AARP has twice put the St. Paul firm on its “Best Employers for Workers Over 50” rankings.
