The Stillwater-based start-up is introducing a storage system designed for the small-to-midsize market that is meant to be easy and inexpensive to scale up as needed. Unlike most storage firms, Pranah makes both the hardware and the software. The specialized hardware allows users to add more terabytes of storage space compared to competitors’ off-the-shelf boxes before an additional storage unit is needed.
Pranah also has a remarkably attractive Web site (pranah.com) in a space where sites tend to be laden with a hyperabundance of specs and tiny text. This is one brand-savvy tech start-up.
