Third Quarter job opportunities in the Twin Cities have edged out the national average according to financial recruiting firm Robert Half International. A net one percent of 200 local CFOs interviewed anticipate hiring additional accounting and finance staff in the upcoming quarter. Nationwide, executives see accounting and finance staff levels to remain unchanged.

In total, six percent of local executives expect to add jobs to their payroll in the third quarter, while five percent anticipate scaling back.

The survey was conducted over a rolling two-quarter period, and a total of 1,400 CFOs were polled across the country.
