The Board of Trustees of The Museum of Russian Art has named Lana Gendlin Brooks its new director of operations and Maria Zavialova its new curator. Brooks arrives from the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, where she served as public programs specialist. Zavialova is an award-winning English/Russian translator and a museum docent with on-site training in the Hermitage and the State Russian Museum in St. Petersburg,
Thomas A. Gunderson has been named investment principal at Lowry Hill, a private asset-management firm with more than $6.4 billion in assets. He will lead Lowry Hill’s large-cap-growth strategy.
