St. Paul-based Sun Country Airlines announced that former Airtran Senior VP Finance and CFO Stan Gadek will take over as CEO beginning March 10. 

"Stan is a great addition to the Sun Country Airlines team," said Tom Petters, Sun Country's chairman. "Stan brings us extensive airline experience with a low cost carrier and a disciplined leadership style which will be key to executing on our plan."
