Altruism is alive and well among U.S. high net worth (HNW) individuals, according to Wells Fargo Private Bank’s Wealth Lifestyle study, which measures the attitudes and views HNW people have toward a wide range of life’s most pressing issues, including money, family, work, and values.
The study found that
nearly three quarters (74 percent) of respondents declared themselves generous
with their money; and the majority said that making a difference in the world
(65 percent) and volunteering in their community (57 percent) are factors to
their overall happiness.
