3M announced its acquisition of Dallas-based Lingualcare Inc., an orthodontic technology and services company known for the iBrace technology, which is an invisible braces system placed behind teeth. 3M says the acquisition will complement their existing line of orthodontic solutions in a market where the demand for aesthetic orthodontic treatment is growing.
